About Us
We are a growing National U-11 boys team. Participating in the club league of A.Y.S.A under the Verde Valley Soccer Club or VVSC we are a Sedona based soccer club with players reaching all over Northern Arizona.
Mission
It is our vision that the team, amongst its vigorous training schedule and playing season, finds a greater fundamental understanding and ability for the game of soccer. The season is about finding community and establishing relationships not only to the game but to our teammates, working together to reach beyond our current capabilities while strengthening ourselves both physically and mentally. Our tournaments and games offer us the ability to find our place as a team and in our greater community, learning about respect, sportsmanship, form, relationship, commitment, passion and FUN. Looking back on each season, we will see not only growth and reflection, we will have really great memories. Here is to the season!
Costs
Annual season registration including out of state play: $65
Uniform costs: $68.15
Tournament Costs: Varies from $250to $600 per tournament with a goal of 8 to 10 tournaments per year.
Hotel costs: Varies from location to location. Lodging for 15 kids for one to three nights for perhaps 8 to 10 tournaments per season.
Travel costs: There is gas to factor in for tournament play, traveling to and from tournaments with a fleet to fit the boys.
Volunteer Opportunities
We are always looking for volunteer referees for our home friendly matches, as well as individuals available to help paint the fields for our matches throughout the year. Parents or friends willing to bring snacks for the games and help with fund raising events for our team would be much appreciated. We are also always looking for people to donate food for pizza parties or venues for team meetings.
